LESSON 10 SUMMARY - Lines & Equations
This module will cover straight line equations, its various forms and elements such as gradient, y-intercept, and x-intercept, and also factorization. Specifically:
- Creating a table of x-values and plotting points for a graph
- Calculating the equation of horizontal and vertical lines and the gradient of a line
- Rearranging an equation in slope-intercept form, and finding the equation given gradient, y-intercept, or points
- Finding the equation of a line from its graph and finding the equation of a line parallel to it
- Calculating the slopes and relationships of lines, and finding the equation of a line perpendicular to a given line
- Finding the x- and y-intercepts of a line, as well as finding the unknown variable in an equation
- Finding the midpoint of a straight-line segment using given points or a graph
- Expanding and simplifying brackets, as well as statement questions related to this topic
- Factorization, including mid-term breaking and difference between two squares, and finding the solution of an equation
